Vector Fins™ is the only top-performing stabilizer system for both cruising and at anchor use. The fins’ concave shape creates multilateral force direction improving the stationary positioning of a vessel while at anchor. The uniqueness of the design also becomes evident while underway as it improves in effectiveness as speed increases. Sea trials have proven that Vector Fins™ are up to 50% more efficient at anchor and capable of reducing the uncomfortable rolling motions of the vessel by up to 95% while cruising.

Technical design benefits

  • The squared base plate provides a large load distribution area to the hull while installing in tight spaces between stringers and bulkheads.
  • Dual, balanced cylinders provide symmetrical load and force.
  • The actuator can be installed in any direction in the boat; the fin angle is independent of the actuator's direction.
  • No moving hoses at all secures leakages and potential wear and simplifies the installation process.
  • Oversized bearings for lifetime operation with only a minimal level of maintenance.
  • Rack and pinion drive connection for quiet, reliable, long-life operation, with easy service when needed after thousands of operational hours.
  • The Vector fins are quickly and easily installed and removed from the outside for best convenience, such as transport or other haul-out situations.
  • Defined shaft-shear point in case of the fins accidentally hitting something.
  • All wet parts in stainless steel.
